Collected Memories
My fascination with the found objects prompted me to explore the memories these objects evoke.  Combing the beaches in search of glass transformed by the elements and time, provided the catalyst to create these works. The beauty of light through glass once sharp and jagged provides a metaphor for memories.   As events occur they are sharp and delineated yet over time they are transformed and their edges soften. Memory is a selective experience...
In the end, mellowed by time and the light of the wisdom, we choose what we wish to remember.
